Artist Tom McKinely does slightly surreal paintings of midcentury modern contemporary homes paying attention to the smallest details. He even adds famous art pieces from Roy Lichtenstein, Edward Ruscha, Cy Twombly and Damien Hirst as parts of the interiors.


“Damage” an installation by Mike Murphy is made from 1,200 suspended black ping pong balls which, when viewed from the right angle takes the shape of an assault rifle. Topical and clever.


Artist Ed Fairburn did a series of portraits that were done on old military maps from World War II and then given dimension by overlaying them on top of colorful North America climate charts. 


Photographer Todd McLellan put together excellent book  titled “Things Come Apart” where he explores 50 objects and 21,959 individual components pulled apart and then neatly organized.
