The feather carries a symbolic meaning across many different cultures. For some, it stands as a symbol of good fortune – in Native American culture, the feather is a symbol of honor and strength. This spring, the Vans OTW Collection channels these sentiments into a capsule of apparel and footwear for the Feathers pack. Custom feather embroidery adorns three silhouettes; the Lasdun, Ludlow and Howell exhibit the pattern on each set of canvas quarter panels. Tonal pig suede detailing, waxed laces, metal eyelet and laser-etched tongue branding completes the selection of sneakers. Additional usage of the custom embroidered motif can be seen throughout the Myers short and Eldridge 5-Panel. The Flock tee rounds off the apparel assortment with screen printed feather graphics pressed against the lightweight cotton top. The Feathers pack ships this March to select OTW retailers.
