LA’s HVW8 gallery hosted a celebratory art show “Family” dedicated to art that inspired and is part of Hanni El Khatib’s new album “Head In the Dirt”. “From Keith Stone’s drawing that graces the album cover as a patch on Nathan Cabrera’s custom made denim jacket in Idaho on one of the last remaining 1940s chain stitched sewing machines to Nick Walker’s photos of El Khatib’s adventures to Dr. Woo’s hand painted & customized guitar.” Also on display were custom painted etched mirrors and hand made marquee letters by Nathan Cabrera, tattoo flash by Dr. Woo and more of Keith Stones illustrations. The show is on display until April 28th.
